Weebly Digital Portfolios
When you are finished with a piece of artwork you need to present your work digitally in your portfolio. In your portfolio you should post a high quality picture and label the piece with the title, materials, year, and class name.
You should post an artist statement with your labeled photo. You can see many examples below of how to format. The formatting is up to you however, it should look professional and consistent.

How to write an artist statement
Your artist statement should be about 1-2 paragraphs in length.
Your artist statement should look and sound professional with complete sentences and proper grammar and punctuation. Talk about where you are going and what you want viewers to take away. "Above all, your statement should compel readers to look at your art. If it doesn’t do that, it hasn’t done its job. Your statement has failed if people read the words you’ve written, and then they go on to the next artist without being intrigued enough to take another look at your work." |
