This week we will be starting our first project. You will need to complete your drawing and a series of blog post reflections about your piece. All the info about the project and blogs can be found here. Your last day in class to work on this will be Friday Sept. 19th.
Make a skills practice blog post about our work with edges and contours. You could talk about our upside down drawings, blind contour, style practice, or hand drawings. Remember your photos should show evidence of what you are talking about.
For your first blog post your are going to be writing about your experience creating your pre-tests and beginning the drawing on the right side of the brain exercises ( vase/face, and upside down drawings.) Your post should answer the following questions
How did you feel about your pre-test drawings?
What were some places in your pre-test that showed you really looking?
Did you sense conflict during the vase/face drawing? How did you solve it?
Do you feel that the upside down drawings helped you get into R-mode?
Discuss any other breakthroughs or successes that you had.
Remember your blog should have photos to show evidence of what you are talking about and will get graded on the following scale
When you are finished, email me a link to your blog post with Drawing in R-mode as the subject.
