Peer Critique 1: After Brainstorming

For this critique you will work with a partner to evaluate each others brainstorming ideas. Remember that evaluating is not if you like or dislike it but about whether or not it is successful.
How do you know if an idea is successful?
It uses head, hands, and heart
It connects to the artist's personal experiences
It doesn't use cliches (Lucky charms and crying eyeballs)
It makes you ask questions
It goes deep- More than pretty, cool, or "I like"

What should it look like:
- Go through and eliminate any ideas that don't meet the above criteria. Choose your best 3 to share with your partner.
- One at a time, go through each of your best work and share your ideas. Discuss how the idea meets the success criteria and give your partner ideas to improve the criteria above.
- Fill out the critique form
- By the time you are done, each person should have narrowed down to one idea to move on to the next step, Organize and Develop.
